Working within the constraints of an existing footprint can spark innovation; how does one best utilize the available space to change the feeling of a room, without dramatic structural changes? When they wanted to update the master bathroom in this cozy and quirky mid-century home, this Magnolia family reached out to interior design consultant Jennifer Beedon Snow to reimagine the space.
In collaboration with Snow, Katahdin reshaped the space, converting a bathtub into a spacious walk-in shower, integrating a pocket door that efficiently tucks into the wall, and incorporating finishes that brighten the room. This modern bathroom features a radiant-heated floor, a towel warming rack, and striking marble herringbone tile floors.
