Redmond Revamp

This 1980s era Redmond house, located just beyond the eastern terminus of SR 520, received a complete revamping. After considering other options, this family opted to remodel the existing house to fit their needs, and, in conjunction with an architect and Katahdin builders, they were able to tailor it to fit. 

The existing house gained multiple additions, including a ground-floor bedroom and attached bath, a brand new living room and above it, and a walk-out deck accessible via the master suite. The old living room was converted into a large and well-trimmed out kitchen, complete with a walk-in pantry, two sinks, and a 10-burner range top. A full marble backsplash complements an island topped in the same manner, which opens up into the adjacent living room.
